Roles and Responsibilities

As a loan officer, your job is to evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of
loans, as well as evaluate loan agreements. Your role is crucial in Savii’s mission of
ensuring that Filipinos have access to salary loans and financial wellness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● To approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside
those limits to management for approval
● To obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about
the process
● To explain to customers (1) the different types of loans and credit options
that are available and (2) the terms of those services
● To obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate
financial statements, and other financial information
● To review and update credit and loan files
● To review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate
according to policy
● Review documents, do ID verification - process of RKYC review (policy is
met & processed within quality standards)
● To stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and

products in order to better meet customers’ needs
● Be responsible for answering inquiries of borrowers via phone call, chat,
email, or any other communication tools
● ∙Perform additional tasks assigned by the immediate manager or
Department Head as required to meet the business needs
Qualifications:
● Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
● Must be confident and comfortable in receiving inbound and making
outbound calls and in responding to emails
● Must be highly detail-oriented with the ability to focus on specific
information and to identify issues and errors
● Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
● Must be willing to work on shifting schedule With reliable wired/wireless
internet connection with minimum of 10MBPS
